Leaked images of a New Apple iPhone? – Updated: just concepts (but done by famous Mac Predictor)
—————
Update: Okay, now I see: the photo credits are for the name Isamu Sanada – after looking more carefully for his name, I found this article from the wired blogs: http://www.wired.com/gadgets/mac/commentary/cultofmac/2002/01/49918.
Interesting though, Sanada is famous for making “dead-ringer” renderings of apple products before they are released. So maybe the new phone will look something like this after all?

Could this be a leaked image of the new iPhone? This is weird, but I just clicked the “random wordpress page” button and stumbled upon a wordpress blog with Asian characters and these photos!
Are these renderings of the new iPhone? I know it could just be someone’s whimsical rendering, but man do they look impressive. Is this old news? Has everyone already seen these images? This is the blog I stumbled upon where I found the images: http://applestylelabo.wordpress.com/

Here’s why I am especially curious about these images. I did a google search and twitter search for both “leaked iPhone images” and “new iphone” - nothing really came up. In fact, the only image that did come up for “leaked iphone 2009″ was this one from gadget.pdamu.com – which does seem like it could match the rendering.
The other strange thing is that these images came from a site (http://applestylelabo.wordpress.com) that has a conspicuously low profile on a google search. Could it be a secret site that they left public because they figured no one would look for the URL? If so, is it just a crazy coincidence that i happened to stumble upon it. Anyway, we’ll see. I guess I’m just “that guy” who is getting too caught up in the latest apple rumor. Oh well.
Here are some more images for your viewing pleasure. Or check out the site for yourself: http://applestylelabo.wordpress.com

He kept the Home button. He should have gotten rid of that.
It kills the touch experience. Everything else about the interface
is light and fluid, but then eventually you have to physically
press and click that harsh home button.
I can forgive the power button and the volume buttons;
they are not really part of the primary UI, but the Home
button gets used a lot. It should have the same feel
as the rest of the UI (which means, it should have none).
